1、 Purpose and influence of temperature control on plastic shell formability
Mold core temperature significantly affects the appearance, physical properties and molding cycle of the molded products. Under general molding conditions, it is desirable to keep the core temperature of the plastic shell low to increase the injection time, but the molding cycle related to the shape of the molded product (core structure) and the type of finished material also depends on the need to increase the core filling temperature.
ABS plastic has a high molding temperature, and its mold temperature is generally adjusted at 25-70 ℃. When producing large products, the temperature of the fixed mold (front mold) is generally about 5 ℃ higher than that of the moving mold (rear mold). (mold temperature will affect the finish of plastic parts, and lower temperature will lead to lower finish)
2、 Adjust the crystallinity of the forming material to control the temperature.
Crystalline materials, such as polysulfide (nylon), polyacetate animal fat, polypropylene, etc. Higher core temperature is usually required to adjust crystallinity and improve mechanical properties.
3、 ABS plastic should not stay in the high-temperature barrel for too long (less than 30 minutes), otherwise it is easy to decompose and turn yellow.
