At this stage, the rapid replacement of traditional stamping technology by laser cutting in my country has basically been completed, and the needs of laser cutting equipment and CNC punching machines have maintained a relative dynamic balance.
Compared with traditional cutting methods, the advantages of laser cutting mainly include fast cutting speed and high processing accuracy. Specifically include:
1. High precision, high speed, narrow slit, small heat affected zone, smooth cutting surface;
2. The processing flexibility is good, and it can also cut pipes and other special-shaped materials;
3. Non-deformation cutting can be performed on materials of any hardness.
4. Fast laser cutting speed: The cutting speed of laser cutting equipment is more than 10 times that of CNC punching machine tools, and the efficiency advantage is directly reflected in the economic advantages of laser cutting.
5. High quality laser cutting: As a traditional metal cutting method, CNC punching has a relatively large restriction, that is, the loss of material is large. At the same time, from the perspective of cutting effect, it is not as good as laser cutting, and usually requires secondary processing, although As such, there is still a lack of precision. The reason why laser cutting has very little damage to materials is that it is a non-contact processing process, no secondary processing is required, and the accuracy is better than that of stamping technology.
