This is an aluminum extruded enclosure specifically designed for 17 * 17cm ATX motherboards.The external size is 196.6*196.6mm,and inner size is about 192*192mm. It has a beautiful appearance, is simple and elegant, and the height can be customized according to different customer design requirements. The interface and heat dissipation holes can be customized, and the upper and lower cover plates can be embedded for better integration. We can also customize high gloss chamfered edges to enhance the high-end feel of the product.

Aluminum extrusions enclosure provide remarkable rigidity and durability while remaining very lightweight. This protects delicate internal components (motherboard, RAM, storage) from bending, flexing, and physical impact.

Channels for sliding PCBs, grooves for gaskets (EMI/RFI shielding), slots for connectors, and built-in mounting points can all be designed directly into the extrusion profile, reducing the number of parts and assembly steps.

Once the die is created, producing aluminum enclosures in various lengths is simple and cost-effective, allowing for a range of sizes from the same base design.

5. Effective EMI/RFI Shielding

Mini computers must comply with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) regulations to avoid interfering with other devices.

Aluminum is a conductive material. When the extruded parts are designed with tight tolerances and often combined with conductive gaskets or fingers, they form a Faraday cage that effectively contains electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI) generated by the internal electronics.
